In one of the quirkiest, quark-infested theories yet, two U.S. theorists postulate in the latest edition of New Scientist magazine that simply looking at the Big Bang resets the instability of our Universe and may hasten or doom our fragile existence. Now THAT is far out, relatively speaking. Meanwhile, others contend that reading information on dead trees will end the world.
